Senior Hearts Characters

A little while back, some friends and I made a cute 2D game about senior dogs in shelters! The point of the game was to raise awareness to what life is like for senior and disabled dogs in the shelter, who just want a loving home like everyone else. Your goal, playing as the "Dogtor" is to help make your patients feel better by paying attention to what makes them happy while caring for their individual medical needs. By the end, you are able to get one of the dogs adopted and off to their furever home!
We had a limited time to make the game and because I was on both writing (had to get all of those puns in) and art, I didn't get to spend as much time polishing as I normally would've liked. However, I had a lot of fun making this project as it was an emotional journey to write these stories but also exciting to work with my team! I learned so much from them and have continued to work on other projects with them.
