Still Dreams of Active Seekers

I entered this VR piece made through Tilt Brush into the Jeffco High School Art Exhibition contest and won first place in the New Media category. I wanted to create a peaceful setting that people can go into and feel comfortable and safe. I made a video (link above) to show the speed build and process of it along with showing the finished project up close.
I had used Tilt Brush before but never to this level. I learned how to use different shapes, brushes, change the settings (brush angle, resolution, lighting, etc), and just how tedious it can be. The leaves and the grass took the longest since there was so much area to cover and I was using a smaller brush. I had to change the angles and ways of using the brush in order to create more realism to it. The river also took a lot of time since it was hard to make it look flat yet flowing and gaps kept creating underneath one another. I also made the roots of the main tree create an opening for the user.
