Concrete Texture

I recently spent some time working on this 3D concrete texture for a friend's game and getting back into working with Substance Designer. Throughout the process, I took into account the setting and story of the game, and determined what kind of details I wanted to add based on how the environment would look.
Since the game is based on an old fighting ground by the water, I wanted the concrete to look like it had both new and old damage with erosion from the waves, scratch marks both new and faded from the fighting, and discoloration from the drops constantly hitting the ground/walls.
I dealt with determining how I wanted to tackle how deep the damage went, how I wanted everything to blend together, the inconsistency from years of damage, etc. I had a lot of fun making this texture and picking at my friend's brain on how he wanted it to look. I was not only able to work with a new material, but also show the connections that designers and artists have and how they can expand on ideas further than initially planned.
